2 arrested for trafficking drugs
HENRY COUNTY, Ga. -- Two Florida men were arrested in Henry County last month after they were caught with cocaine and marijuana.
The suspects' car was pulled over on Interstate 75 on Friday, Mar. 23 for its illegal window tint.
Police smelled marijuana inside the car and conducted a probable cause search, which uncovered two packages wrapped in duct tape. One of the packages contained about two pounds of cocaine, while the other had one pound of marijuana.
The driver of the car was identified as 31-year-old Cedric Lamont Jenkins. His passenger was 26-year-old Anthony Jamel Johnson.
Jenkins and Johnson, who both live in Havana, Fla., were arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and marijuana possession.
